Literary Analysis Research
There are 4 main types of sources you should use:
1. Masterplots (except Abigail Adams, Thomas Jefferson, & Thomas Paine) - in BOOKS. (Masterplots poetry, Masterplots Short Story, Masterplots Women's Lit, and Masterplots African American Literature)
2. Poetry for Students / Short Stories for Students / Literary Themes for Students - found in the Google Drive
3. Books - search in Destiny, find on the cart
4. Databases- Gale and EBSCO

1. Use DESTINY to find books. (Academics-Frequents- Library- Destiny OR use the link above)
2. Tips for your Destiny search:
*Use a KEYWORD search for your author's name.
*Look for words like CRITICAL, INTERPRETATION, ANALYSIS,
and BLOOM'S
3. Bring your computer to the cart to locate your books. YOU WILL NEED THE CALL NUMBER. (ex: 811.2 POE)
4. You will use the table of contents and the index to find information on your topic.
Often you will need to use several search terms to use an index.
